How can I unlock the speed / buy a throttle?
Our bikes fully comply with EU regulations and only support the PAS system. Due to the popularity of the Cavet Air model, some people have hacked the software and sold throttles to unlock higher speeds.

⚠️ Important: Unlocking speed or using a throttle is illegal in the EU and unsafe. A-Spadz does not take responsibility for bikes modified this way. We strongly do not recommend attempting this.
The battery won’t lock properly.
The battery and base each have slots that must align.
- Align the battery slot with the base slot.
- Press down firmly until it clicks into place.
- Lock the battery using the key.
My battery range seems too short.
In real-world tests, a 75 kg rider in city traffic riding at level 5 (25 km/h) achieved a range of 60 km. Factors like weight, temperature, riding habits, and traffic can affect the range.
Note: Advertised ranges are based on lab tests (level 1, constant speed) and are meant for reference only.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
Our 48V 15.6 Ah battery uses a smart charger with 2 A output. When the battery reaches 85–90% charge, the current gradually decreases (trickle charging) to prevent overcharging. Full charging usually takes 8–9 hours.
My brakes are making noise.
Two common reasons:
- Dirt or oil on brake pads/discs – clean with a disc brake cleaner or alcohol, then wipe dry. This usually fixes the problem.

How do I adjust the gears/chain?
Bikes are fully inspected and adjusted before leaving the factory. However, gear cables may loosen slightly during shipping or over time, which can cause minor shifting issues.
- Quick adjustment usually solves this.
